You need an BAL-FZ roof infill strip when there is direct exposure to ember attack, flames from bushfire, and heat flux over 40 kW/mtr2.
These profiles are made up of a stand alone frame conforming to BAL-FZ bushfire rating & were tested to AS 1530.1 achieving a “non ignitability" fire rating by a NATA certified laboratory
All profiles have a rubber insert that has been tested & subsequently rated, as non ignitable (to AS 1530.3). This rubber creates a perfect seal between the purlin & roof sheeting.
Our infills stop airborne embers when exposed to ember attack.
Designed by Gardiner Australia & we manufacture them using only fire rated materials.
