Gardiner Australia was established in Brisbane in 1931 and has been owned and run by the same family since that time. In 1942 the Brisbane factory relocated to Sydney & in the 1960's  factories were established in Melbourne & Adelaide to better serve both the automotive industry as well as general industry in those cities. We have achieved Ford (plastics) supplier of the year as well a receiving a number of additional awards from the likes of Mitsubishi & Britax Rainsfords.

We began manufacturing solid rubber and neoprene bonded cork in the 1960's and then made our first sponge rubber (Neoprene) and foam (EVA) in the 1970's. We were the first Australian company to achieve this & remain the leader in this field.

In the 1990's manufacture of polyethylene (PE) foam began & since then we have continued to refine this process  making the highest quality foam possible. Our manufacturing  philosophy has always been to buy the best machinery available  & then match that with the highest quality raw materials. Our German manufactured splitting machines, Japanese manufactured foaming plant  &  Australian, Italian, English & French made die cutting equipment attest to this.

The result of our approach to manufacturing is that our sponge & foam products are the best you can buy anywhere in the world. Our products are sold throughout Australia but also exported to New Zealand, the Middle East, China, Vietnam, Singapore & Laos.
