BAL-29* eaves & ridge roof infill strips
Conforms to AS 1530.2 naked flame "non ignitability" fire rating, tested by a NATA certified laboratory
Conforms to AS 1530.3 radiant heat “non ignitability" fire rating and was tested by a NATA certified laboratory.
We can manufacture any profile so please contact us if the profile you require is not shown here.
*Bal-29 eave filler infill strips have been tested to AS 1530.2 (flammability/ignitability) and AS 1530.3 (spread of flame and heat) and are deemed non-combustible so are able to be used in BAL-29 constructions. However, to meet the strict requirements of AS 3959:2018 which is the mandatory Australian Standard that specifies design and construction requirements for homes built in designated bushfire-prone zones, it must be installed as part of a compliant system.
BAL-29 Gap filler / Sealing strip
Seals gaps under flashings or around windows where they meet cladding. They can be fitted on the vertical or under an overhanging surface (either the fascia or around a window frame) because of the self adhesive backing.
Can be used to fill any gaps behind barge boards at the edges of tiled or metal roofs
Can be used to seal the bottom of metal cladding where it sits on a concrete slab, or under roof domes, roof skylights or any vents.
Can be used as a channel foam to protect against embers piling up on top of an awning in the small space under the eaves.
Can be used as a fire resistant seal which accommodates expansion & contraction due to temperature variations or movement or to seal any gap.

Conforms to AS 1530.3 radiant heat “non ignitability" fire rating and was tested by a NATA certified laboratory.

*BAL-29 sealing strip is compliant for use in BAL-29 (Bushfire Attack Level) areas as it is non-combustible and will not ignite or contribute to the spread of fire according to AS 1530.2(naked flame test) & AS 1530.3 (radiant heat test). However, to meet the strict requirements of AS 3959:2018 which is the mandatory Australian Standard that specifies design and construction requirements for homes built in designated bushfire-prone zones, it must be installed as part of a compliant system.
