CR 242-2 sponge rubber offers excellent resistance to degradation in environments where fuels, oils, solvents, acids and chemicals are present. CR 242-2 has a high heat tolerance and UV resistance when compared to most other foams and sponge rubbers. The physical properties provide compressibility and the rebound features that make it an excellent seal against water, air and dust ingression.
