FR roof infill strip features
Conform to AS 1530.3 1999 “non ignitability" fire rating & were tested by a NATA certified laboratory
FR profiles, being individually tested, have a significant advantage over products claiming to meet AS1530.8.1 as this is a test for the "combined components of a particular roof system". Individual parts of the system are not tested therefore you cannot know if those individual components are suitable for your roofing system or if they are fire rated on their own.
FR profiles are Australian made using superior materials when compared to normal “PE” (polyethylene) roof infill strips
FR profiles stops airborne embers & will self extinguish when exposed to flames
FR profiles stops pests, dust or air pass into the roof cavity
Much stronger than any other products currently sold in the Australian market
We have over 60 different profiles so please contact us if the profile you require is not shown here
FR barrier strip features
Seals gaps under flashings or around windows where they meet cladding. They can be fitted on the vertical or under an overhanging surface (either the fascia or around a window frame) because of the self adhesive backing.
Can be used to fill any gaps behind barge boards at the edges of tiled or metal roofs
Can be used to seal the bottom of metal cladding where it sits on a concrete slab, or under roof domes, roof skylights or any vents
Can be used as a channel foam to protect against embers piling up on top of an awning in the small space under the eaves (where they can ignite leaf rubbish accumulating there)
Can be used as a fire resistant barrier which accommodates expansion & contraction due to temperature variations or movement or to seal any gap
